Sarah Dean is Senior Manager, International Affairs at Deere & Company where she manages the company’s business development, environmental, and regulatory policy issues in global markets in support of the company’s strategic ambitions.
From 2011-2018, Sarah was Manager, International Affairs. She joined John Deere in 2009 as a Project Manager working with the Committee on Corporate & Social Responsibility and was responsible for defining how the company discovers, monitors, and understands emerging issues. From 2010-2011, Sarah was Project Manager, International Affairs and Economics in the Office of the Chief Economist.
Prior to joining Deere, Sarah spent four years working – principally in London and Washington, DC – on international development initiatives in Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the CIS.
She earned a MBA from Duke University and a BA in History and African Studies from Colby College.
